Delve uses quote-based pricing. The directory record carries a $10,000–$30,000 annual third-party estimate, retrieved 24 July 2026. It is not Delve’s rate card or a customer contract. Confirm the independent audit fee, scope, and renewal terms in writing.
We take no money from Delve. Delve has no paid placement, referral relationship, or commercial influence on this page. The third-party range is labeled as an estimate, not presented as Delve’s price.
Request an itemized proposal, separate the software and audit fees, and compare the same scope across vendors. The tables below show what to record and which figures remain estimates.
Recent developments
In March 2026, an anonymous investigation alleged that Delve’s workflows produced fabricated or near-duplicate SOC 2 and ISO 27001 reports for hundreds of clients. TechCrunch reported the allegations and Delve’s denial. We have not independently verified the core claims. Delve says independent, licensed auditors issue the final reports.
Delve’s 24 March and 3 April 2026 posts announced complimentary re-audits and penetration tests, direct auditor communications, clearer template disclosures, a rebuilt auditor network, and a pause on automation that interacts with audit workflows (24 March update; 3 April update). These are Delve’s statements, not independent findings. TechCrunch reported that Delve and Y Combinator parted ways on 4 April 2026.
The dispute remains unresolved. For pricing, require the quote to name the licensed CPA firm, separate software from audit fees, and show how evidence moves from Delve to the auditor. The SOC 2 report verification guide explains how to check the report itself.
- $32M Series A led by Insight Partners at a reported $300M valuation. Source
- Allegations reported about fabricated compliance evidence; Delve denied them. Source
- Customer measures announced: complimentary re-audits, penetration tests, engagement letters, and direct auditor communications. Source
- Operational changes announced: Delve said it would rebuild its auditor network and halt automation that interacts with audit workflows. Source
- Y Combinator separation reported. The separation did not resolve the allegations. Source
How much does Delve cost?
Delve does not publish a universal list price. AWS Marketplace lists a $12,000 Foundation Package starting price for 1–20 employees on a 12-month contract; our GRC software directory also records a broader $10,000–$30,000 third-party annual estimate. Neither is a universal Delve quote.
Delve pricing evidence status
| Evidence type | What we can publish | Status |
|---|---|---|
| Public list price | Delve’s site uses quote-based pricing; no universal rate card found | Unknown |
| Marketplace catalog price | $12,000 starting at AWS Marketplace, Foundation Package, 1–20 employees, 12 months | Scoped; retrieved 2026-08-26 |
| Registry estimate | $10,000–$30,000/year, third-party estimate | Estimated; retrieved 2026-07-24 |
| Third-party breakdown | ComplyJet’s May 21, 2026 analysis cites ~$12,000 platform + ~$12,000 audit from other sources | Reported, not vendor-confirmed |
| Monthly equivalent | $833–$2,500/month if the annual estimate is divided by 12 | Illustrative only |
The marketplace listing names a package, employee range, and contract term. It does not say whether the price includes the independent audit, a penetration test, extra frameworks, or renewal terms. The broader directory range comes from third-party pricing analysis, not a Delve order form.
A Delve quote applies to the named buyer and scope. Company size, frameworks, systems, support, and contract terms may change the price; one private proposal does not establish a public rate.
Does Delve publish list pricing?
Our reviewed source set contains no universal Delve public price list. It does contain a scoped primary-source figure: AWS Marketplace lists the Foundation Package at $12,000 starting for 1–20 employees on a 12-month contract. The directory’s $10,000–$30,000 figure is a separate third-party estimate.
The AWS Marketplace figure applies to a named package and employee range. Our directory estimate covers a broader range but has weaker support. Delve’s services license agreement says the Order controls the fees, scope, and term, so neither figure establishes the cost of a specific SOC 2 scope, audit firm, or renewal. See the services license agreement.
Ask Delve for a written proposal tied to your systems and compliance scope, then compare it with the source-dated vendor bands in our SOC 2 software pricing comparison.
Does SOC2 Auditors receive money from Delve?
We take no money from Delve. Delve has no paid placement, referral relationship, or commercial influence on this page. We apply the same evidence standard to Delve pricing that we apply to every other vendor.
Delve cannot pay for a price claim, recommendation, or placement on this page. We will update the figures when stronger evidence becomes available.
What should a Delve quote include?
A usable Delve quote should identify the subscription term, frameworks, connected systems, onboarding, support, usage limits, optional services, renewal rules, and exclusions. Keep the independent audit fee separate so competing proposals cover the same scope.
Copy every proposal into one comparison sheet:
| Quote field | What to record | Question to resolve |
|---|---|---|
| Platform term | Start, end, and cancellation terms | How long is the commitment? |
| Framework scope | Every included framework | Is added scope priced separately? |
| Systems | Native connections and manual evidence | What remains internal work? |
| Onboarding | Deliverables, owner, and timeline | Is implementation included? |
| Support | Channel, response target, and named help | What happens when evidence fails? |
| Usage limits | Users, entities, tests, or questionnaires | What can trigger an overage? |
| Renewal | Notice, uplift, and scope assumptions | What can change after year one? |
| Audit | CPA firm, fee, and separate engagement | Who issues the report? |
Do not accept “included” as the final description of a material service. Ask what the deliverable is, who performs it, when it is due, and what happens if the scope changes.
How should buyers compare Delve with alternatives?
Compare Delve on the same frameworks, systems, service depth, audit arrangement, contract term, and renewal assumptions as every alternative. A lower headline quote can cost more when it excludes onboarding, evidence work, support, or the independent audit.
Begin with the SOC 2 software directory to define a shortlist, then use the pricing comparison to identify vendors with source-dated bands. Leave unknown costs blank until the quote supplies them. If Vanta is the other candidate, use our Vanta vs Delve comparison to evaluate audit handoff and evidence review alongside the price.
A useful comparison has three totals: first-year external spend, likely renewal spend, and internal labor. This prevents a broad service package from being compared with software alone and prevents a cheaper license from hiding extensive manual work.
Is Delve worth the quoted price?
Delve may be worth a quote if its evidence collection and support reduce work your team would otherwise do manually. Judge the offer by its written scope, total first-year cost, renewal terms, and a live product demonstration.
Give Delve a representative control and ask the team to show the full path from connected system to auditor-ready evidence. Test a missing or failing item, not only the clean dashboard state. Then ask the intended auditor whether the export and evidence trail fit its testing process.
Review the demonstration, itemized quote, and matched alternatives together. Contract terms and the auditor’s acceptance of the evidence format carry more weight than the sales narrative.
What is the auditor’s view of Delve pricing?
An auditor does not approve a software purchase or judge whether its price is fair. The auditor evaluates controls and evidence independently. Compliance software may organize evidence, but a licensed CPA firm must perform the examination and issue the SOC 2 report.
Ask the CPA firm which evidence Delve can export, which tests still require manual support, and whether the proposed workflow preserves access to original records. Keep the CPA engagement and fee separate unless the contracts clearly identify the independent firm and each party’s responsibilities.
