Bringing Transparency to SOC 2

SOC2Auditors.org helps companies compare SOC 2 audit firms and compliance software by price and fit, then request matched quotes. We see both sides of the same deal: the briefs buyers send, and the quotes auditors and software vendors send back.

Buyer RFPs
500+ requests from companies actually choosing a firm or platform: scope, expectations, profile, questions, and the doubts that never make a sales deck.
Supplier quotes
2,000+ quotes from audit firms and software vendors: the price, the offered scope, and the solution they proposed for that brief.
How we use both
Together they show both sides of the same SOC 2 deal. We use them to set planning ranges and make fit calls. We never publish a point price from a single quote. Both counts grow as new briefs and quotes arrive. Public licensing and peer-review records still gate the directory.

The Problem We Saw

When companies need SOC 2, they face an opaque market. Most auditors and platforms hide pricing behind "contact us" forms. It is hard to compare firms or tools side by side. Generic advice gives buyers "it depends" when they are trying to build a budget and protect a sales timeline.

The result is wasted time. Buyers spend weeks on discovery calls before they get basic information: what a firm costs, whether it handles their industry, how long the engagement usually takes, and whether the assigned team has modern cloud and SaaS experience.

What We Built

Buyers can compare 174+ verified audit firms by estimated Type 1 and Type 2 pricing, timeline, company-stage and industry fit, licensing, and peer-review evidence, then submit one private brief for 3–10 matched quotes. Buyer identities remain private until they choose which firms to meet. The same dataset informs 26 software platform comparisons. See the software hub.

Who Reads Us

CTOs, VPs of Engineering, Heads of Security, founders, and compliance managers at SaaS companies preparing for their first SOC 2 or renewing a Type 2. Most readers arrive with a practical question about pricing, timeline, auditor fit, or platform selection.

How We Review

Shortlists and planning ranges are judgments from those live briefs and quotes, checked against public licensing and peer-review records. The rulebook is public: what we evaluate, where numbers come from, what sponsorship can buy, and what it cannot. Read the full methodology.

For Audit Firms and Platforms

We help compliance audit firms and software vendors get discovered by the right buyers through quarterly reports, content structured for AI search visibility, featured directory placements, and buyer routing where the fit is real.

Audit firms should start at for auditors. Software vendors and referral partners should start at partners. Quarterly reports also reach 500+ outlets including Yahoo Finance, MarketWatch, Business Insider, Associated Press, Apple News, StreetInsider, Bloomberg Terminal, Dow Jones Factiva, and Thomson Reuters.

Founder

Peter Korpak

Peter Korpak founded SOC2Auditors.org to help companies find the right auditor and help strong auditors get discovered. After eight years helping B2B companies generate leads through data-driven strategies, he saw how broken vendor discovery was in compliance. The shortlists and planning ranges are built from the buyer briefs and supplier quotes that pass through this site, plus public licensing and peer-review evidence.
